The country office developed the National Youth Policy, national youth surveys, as well as a national reproductive health curriculum through a ministerial decree, introducing it to more than 100 public schools and reaching between 4,000 to 5,000 students.

A key aspect of UNFPA’s work with youth involves the development and training of a youth network with more than 300 youth peer educators, who in turn conduct community outreach, reaching over 200,000 youths.
