With 15 years of experience in various management roles Ms. Di Camillo has collaborated with diverse organizations encompassing NGOs, international NGOs, and the United Nations. She worked in different complex setting including in Palestine, Jordan, Myanmar, Turkey cross border operation in North West Syria and Tanzania. 

Her expertise encompasses both humanitarian and development programs, with a focus on enhancing institutional capacities, fostering partnerships, and promoting coordination to advocate for women's and girls' protection and empowerment. 

She joined UNFPA in 2018 and within UNFPA's regional operations, she has held pivotal positions such as GBV specialist, GBV coordinator, and Programme Coordinator, where she provided program leadership, strategic guidance, oversight, and played a crucial interagency role.

Ms. Di Camillo is a staunch advocate for women’s rights and the incorporation of the International Conference for Population and Development (ICPD) Agenda into national policies and strategies. She firmly believes in the power of collaboration and partnership. Educated as a Development Economist, Ms. Di Camillo holds a Master of Arts degree in Development Studies from the University of Rome La Sapienza. She is married and has two daughters.
